FAQ: hot tub / above-ground pool removal on the South Shore
Do you disconnect the hot tub's electrical wiring?
We disconnect and pull the spa wiring once it's unplugged and cut at the panel. To be safe, have an electrician cut the 240V or flip the breaker before we arrive. We then take out the wire, the pump and the filter with everything else.
Do I need to drain the pool before you come?
It helps if you pump out the bulk of the water the night before, especially a full pool, since draining takes time. If it's still full or half full, tell us and we'll build the drain time into the job. We don't load a liner full of water, we empty it first.
Do you take the deck and concrete pad around the spa too?
Yes. If the deck, ladder, surround or concrete pad under the unit need to go, we tear them down and load them in the same visit. Note it on your photos so the price covers it all at once, with no second trip.
