FAQ: post-renovation cleanup on the South Shore
Do you only pick up debris, or also the old countertops and ripped-out cabinets?
Both. We take out the old countertop, kitchen cabinets, vanity, old tub and toilet at the same time as the drywall offcuts and wood scraps. It all goes in the same truck, and the price covers the labour to carry it out, even from an upper floor or the basement.
How much does it cost to clear debris after a renovation?
We charge by the space the material takes in our 10-cubic-yard truck, starting at $185, labour and transport included. Reno debris is dense, so send us photos of the pile: we give you a firm price in under 2 hours, and it holds to the end.
Does the reno material just go to landfill?
No. We sort the wood, metal, packaging cardboard and salvageable ceramic toward recycling and a recovery facility, about 80% diverted from landfill. Only the non-recoverable residual is disposed of. For paint or solvents, let us know: those are hazardous waste that go to an HHW drop-off, not in the regular truck.
