Send one or two photos of the appliance through the form, or call us, and you get a price in under 2 hours, based on the space it takes in our 10-cubic-yard truck (a standard fridge runs about 1/8). The price is confirmed before we load and held to the end, with no extras. We show up, unplug it, carry it out by the stairs or elevator, and sort it at the end: reuse, refrigerant and metal recovery, or a recovery facility. The minimum is $170.

FAQ: appliance removal on the South Shore
Do I need to unplug or empty the appliance before you arrive?
Ideally, empty the fridge or freezer and unplug it a few hours ahead so it defrosts, which avoids water on the floor. Otherwise we handle unplugging the washer, dryer or stove on site. For a water heater or a gas connection, tell us when you call so we arrive prepared.
Where do my old appliances go after pickup?
We sort everything. Refrigerators, freezers, AC units and dehumidifiers go to GoRecycle (recognized by RECYC-QUÉBEC) for safe halocarbon and metal recovery. Electronics go through ARPE-Québec. A working unit can be donated, and the rest is disposed of responsibly. About 80% is diverted from landfill.
Can you bring an appliance down from a 2nd floor or a condo with an elevator?
Yes. We carry washers, dryers and fridges down tight stairs or via the elevator, that's the job. Tell us the floor and whether there's an elevator when you send the photos, so we plan the right number of people. The price depends on the space in the truck, not the number of steps.
